Harmony House Women’s Shelter is pleased to announce the addition of an exciting new event to its fundraising calendar. On Saturday, November 30, 2013 the first Harmony House Holiday House Tour will take place. Between 10am and 4pm, participants will discover 5 beautiful homes in the Sandy Hill neighbourhood. Designed as a self-guided walking tour, it is an ideal way to kick off the holiday decorating season.
Local decorating and design firms have donated their talents and time to decorate the homes, which range in style from 100 year old homes, art deco gems to the ultra modern. “There is such an interesting range of architecture and decor. Guests are sure to be inspired.” says Tracey Gainforth, Fund Development Manager and organizer of the event. Participating designers are: Serina Fraser of Clear Design, Sonya Kinkade of Kinkade Design, Maureen Coates of Modecor, Leanne Lacroix, Sarah Lamarche of Coral Sparks, and Julie Kurtz and Mary Pat Dubois of 2 Peas 1 Pod.
Sponsors include, TAG Events, Michelle VandenBosch, Blumen Studios, Creekside Gardens, Heavens to Betsy, Christa Tessier of The Mortgage Advisors.
Tickets for the event are $40 and can be purchased by visiting: http://hhholidayhousetour.eventbrite.ca/ or calling 613-853-3250
