2. Sandy Hill Community Rink

The cold temperatures during January and February have allowed us to keep the rinks open every day. The rink has been booked for more events this year than in the last three years. The events include The Guides, the Winter Classic Hockey Tournament, the first ever ASH Hot Chocolate Sunday, the Winter Carnival and the uOttawa Students Union. Attendees at these events have all enjoyed a lovely time on our outdoor rink. Despite two major snow storms, Alan and his team have managed to clear the snow in record time thereby making it possible for everyone to enjoy our Community rink. Our usage is reported to the City so thank you to all who skate on our rinks.
